About Samantha

Mama to Oliver. Dog Mama to Mila. Amateur Gardener & Homesteader

Bio’s are always so challenging to write while maintaining authenticity and your true brand voice (no leveraging AI here). So here we go, my passion for all things creative started a very young age, asking my parents for art supplies instead of toys and trying out literally every art form that you can possibly imagine. I can’t even fathom how much my extremely supportive parents must have spent in allowing me to take up painting lessons, saxophone, sewing classes at a local university when I thought I wanted to be a fashion designer, singing, hip hop, salsa dancing…the list goes on.

Fast forward to high school senior year when I began preparing my artistic portfolio for SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) for a FASM degree (Fashion Marketing and Management). When I got the call during lunch at the school cafeteria that I was accepted I immediately called my father to share the good news and the rest was history. I graduated in 2015 with the degree I sought out for and took electives in Advertising, Photography and Website Development. My senior project was the introduction to Bseen Creative Agency, the official launch of my small business.

When I graduated, I leveraged internships in the industry, attended a sh*t ton of networking events and built unforgettable relationships. 10 years later I’m still doing what I love and then some.

A few of my favorite things

My son, Oliver aka “Ollie”, is my ‘why’. This is a role that I never imagined falling in love with so much. Oliver is 2 going on 3 and is extremely brilliant, joyful and creative.
“Family is not an important thing, it’s everything.”
Gardening: the most rewarding and frustrating hobby I’ve ever experienced in my life (and if you read my bio you know I’ve tried it all).
Homesteading is a lifestyle of self-sufficiency. There’s something rewarding about growing and nurturing your own food. Knowing where your food comes from is so important.
Country Music: hands down my favorite (not your typical choice when you’re a Cuban girl from Miami but living in Savannah, GA for 7 years definitely had an influence)
Currently in the process of ridding one toxic product used on a daily basis in my life – detergents, soaps, processed foods, scented candles and overall poor ingredients
